One of the first things I did when I moved into the city was get a freelance gig at a local publication, and I currently write for BORO Magazine. I love learning about new topics and places through meeting people, reporting and telling their stories.

I've been reporting since age 16, getting my start in Westchester County, where I interned at the Scarsdale Inquirer and started my high school's first news blog, EdgeOnline. I also have written for The Journal News (LoHud); the Scarsdale Inquirer, Westchester County Business Journal and WAG Magazine. I also wrote for Fairfield County Business Journal, and some stories were picked up by the local Hearts publications like the Stamford Advocate.

In college I wrote for the school paper, The Review (where I was a managing news editor) and the local paper, Newark Post and its sister publication, the Cecil Whig. I won awards for my writing and was awards the Lindsey Bonistall Memorial journalism scholarship.
